In response to Donald Trump's groundbreaking play for minority voters this past week, the Clinton camp unveiled a brand new line of attack against The Donald on Thursday in Reno, Nevada. In a short, thirty minute speech to a crowd of probably more than one hundred people, Hillary trotted out the now defunct liberal super-weapon: "that's racist." While just months ago an accusation like that rivaled the planet destroying might of the Death Star, the teflon Don has proven week after week in public spats with various news media, the Republican Party, and Hillary Clinton that the new right is immune to the petulant race baiting of Obama's progressive left.
So this time Hillary had to step it up a notch. I don't know who wrote her speech and I don't know what fantastic hallucinogen they were on; but I know for a fact that the words that she read off of her teleprompter last Thursday were written some night after 2:00 am and they were not proof read by a sober or a rational person the next day. Grappling with the public's total lack of trust in Crooked Hillary and the Crooked media, the Clinton Camp thought that the best way to make the politically fatal moniker of "racist" stick was to obfuscate it into a convoluted "vast right wing conspiracy" involving Vladimir Putin, Milo Yiannopoulos, and David Duke. The ultimate purpose of the speech appeared to be an ill conceived attempt to wrangle fleeing black voters and return them to the urban Democrat plantation like runaway slaves, yet contemporary observers may never uncover the true motive.
What we do know beyond a shadow of a doubt is that this speech represents a clear distress signal straight from George Soros that the entire Washington DC political establishment is terrified and that short of mass electoral fraud, they are going down. Barack Obama never had to summon the darkest underground of the internet and utter the words "alt right" in a major public address to stop the momentum of John McCain or Mitt Romney. Politics remained traditional and polished and standard because there was no real threat to the status quo. Neither McCain nor Romney nor any single member of the 17 man field of this primary (excluding Trump obviously) had the temerity or chutzpah to unequivocally maintain that the emperor is not wearing clothes. But because this disrupter, this revolutionary republican (small "r") candidate is marching so dangerously close to the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the American electorate watches, captivated, as the demonic globalist interests of Washington are exorcised by the high priest of the people in an increasingly disturbing ritual.
Now that Trump has recovered his position in the polls to a statistical tie and is rapidly gaining on Hillary in the swing states when just weeks ago she was running away with the election, the Clinton camp is throwing out everything but the kitchen sink. Who had ever even heard of the alt right until Thursday? Hillary says Trump has made the alt right mainstream, but to whom exactly except for nervous beltway insiders? As a regular reader of Breitbart, I have heard only feint whispers of that movement as a fringe within the fringe of the opposition party and yet the Clinton camp drummed this up as the silver bullet to kill Trump's momentum! Is that all she has? Whether or not there is any truth to the wild and zany accusations made in that speech, this hail Mary play to salvage the necessary black constituency for a Democrat win in November just reeks of desperation.
She is reduced to reading out the juvenile, tongue-in-cheek headlines written by gay troll Milo Yiannopoulos as totally serious to the bewildered, choreographed outrage of her phantom constituency. And this routine was designed by the top political science majors in the country as an effective response to Trump's claim that her party has reduced blacks to "refugees in their own country?" There is just no contest, Trump has ascended to a higher plane of politics than a woman who has spent her entire adult life in bed with politics. Fully one fifth of registered Democrats are black and this week Trump has proven his viability to steal this constituency right out from under Hillary Clinton. While both parties have been content for years to ignore the elephant in the room of a dysfunctional black community which is clearly failing, Trump is integrating a direct appeal to its victims into his core messaging right alongside his bedrock positions on immigration and trade. And the best counter to this devastatingly brilliant strategy is for Hillary to make the case that Vladimir Putin is the godfather of a global nationalist movement to assert white supremacy? The lunacy of it all is staggering, much more so that this was intended to be a knockout punch. She has nothing. The establishment has nothing.
Consider the perspective of the average black voter. On average, blacks are making roughly $25,000 a year less than whites; less than 70% of blacks graduate high school compared with 86% of whites; in homicides the offending rate for blacks is eight times higher than whites and the victim rate is six times higher. Black America is in crisis in just about every measurable facet from employment to education to crime and they know it. Black voters are not stupid. While uppity Manhattanite liberals can hang with their token nerdy black college friend and pretend like they know the plight of a people in peril, those blacks in Detroit, Chicago, Newark, and Baltimore are pissed off. Trump's message has consolidated around brutal acknowledgement while Clinton has shockingly pivoted towards willingly blind denial.
"Trump has . . . described black communities in such insulting and ignorant terms: poverty, rejection, horrible education, no housing . . . crimes at levels nobody has seen . . . you walk down the street and get shot. Those are his words." Hillary actually said this, those are her words.
This excerpt alone demonstrates so clearly that the Democrat Party has shifted to the left of reality. For Hillary to get on that stage in front of those few people to lampoon Donald Trump because he said black neighborhoods are dangerous and poor might be a better indicator than any poll or any pundit that she is losing this race and losing it badly, because she is now so obviously campaigning against real life. After she said that Trump is ignorant to describe black communities as violent, Dwyane Wade's cousin got caught in the crossfire of gang warfare in Chicago and was shot and killed the next day.
There is no place left for Hillary Clinton to hide. The media has blitzed Donald Trump for a month, Hillary has outspent him exponentially, he has gone through two campaign managers in two months, and he has had to overhaul his entire platform in less than a week. And now he's coming back. Trump is coming to take the black vote, the Bernie vote, and in November he will take the White House. It seems that the only thing standing in the way of this Trump Train pulling into Washington DC is Crooked Hillary with her failing health and a schizophrenic accusation of racism. She's toast.
